Chairman's Report

2025 marks Viridian Financial Group’s 10th anniversary, and the Community Program and Viridian Foundation have been part of that journey for most of our proud history.

As reinforced in last year’s Chairman’s report, Making a Difference in Moments that Matter,’ remains the Viridian Foundation’s core mantra, and this has not changed since the Foundation’s incorporation on September 21, 2019.

The Viridian Foundation continues to represent the ‘Giving’ of the Viridian Financial Group’s Philanthropic aspirations, strongly represented by our sub-fund clients and our core fund grant giving program, whilst the Viridian Community Program represents the ‘Doing’, often represented through volunteering programs across our 30+ offices.

Helping drive healthy, vibrant and connected communities remains our opportunity and our strength across offices that are now located across Australia, the Philippines and Nepal. We continue to provide clear, structured giving programs for our clients and structured as well as unstructured giving programs for our 400+ employees.

The 2025 Financial Year has been an incredibly rewarding year for all those involved, and I continue to be incredibly grateful to the broader generosity of all our volunteers.

Pillars of Focus

Every June, the Board conducts a full strategic review to ensure the key priorities are reviewed and reinforced to further drive the underlying health and performance of the Foundation’s obligations.

The Board recognises that the ever-changing and changing environment across the Australian landscape presents. This adds complexity to both raising adequate funding, whilst the needs within communities continue to accelerate.

We feel we remain well placed to bridge the gap between those that ‘have’, to those that ‘need’.

Thank you again to all our Staff and Clients for your tremendous support! I am excited about what the year ahead has in store. Should you have any queries regarding any of the above, please do not hesitate to ask.

Your sincerely,

Michael Ehrentraut
Chairman, Viridian Foundation
